Janice Dicks

Janice Dicks of Milwaukee got the gift of painting Christmas day when she was 12, she says. She had seen a young man drawing and she wished she could do it-a wish that came true on Christmas. Shes sketches with pencil and India ink and she paints. "I am at a very peaceful place deep inside my soul," she says. "It transfers to my art. I thank God every day for giving me this great gift. A person never knows how far a gift will go. Only he knows." She has had exhibits at various venues in Milwaukee.
